Connection and Startup

You will find three LED control lamps on the front panel:

쎲 Power: This lamp lights once the modem is switched on and is supplied

with power.

쎲 Data: This lamp is lit to indicate that data are being sent or received by

the modem.

쎲 Connect: This LED lights to show that the modem has opened the tele-

phone line. It lights up as soon as the modem begins dialing, even if a

connection to the ISP has not yet been established.

The rear panel has four jacks and two LED control lamps:

쎲 I/O: On/off switch;

use this to switch the MicroLink 56k Fun LAN on and off.

쎲 AC 9V~: Plug the provided power adapter into the MicroLink 56k Fun LAN

using this jack.
